Howth Singing Circle’s 21st Burns Nicht is again a virtual event run in association with Edinburgh Folk Club and The World’s Room.

‘And the first tree that’s in the green wood
It was the holly’
“It’s of a pretty female as you may understand,
Her mind being bent for rambling into some foreign land.
She dressed herself in sailor’s clothes or so it does appear,
And she hired with a captain to serve him for a year.”
All Welcome!

‘Those days are but a memory like the snow of yesteryear
And evening shades are falling all alone I shed a tear
On my cheek I feel the soft touch of the winds that whisper low
When I mowed Pat Murphy’s meadow in the sunny long ago’
