HSC welcomes guests from two UK folk clubs with two events this weekend.

On Saturday afternoon, 24 March from 3-4pm we are singing for St Francis Hospice in Sutton Methodist Church, accompanied by guests from the Grand Union Folk Club, Sileby, Leicestershire and the Tigerfolk Traditional Folk Club, Long Eaton, Derbyshire.

On Sunday morning, 25 March starting at 11 o’clock sharp in the foyer of the Liberty Hall Auditorium on Eden Quay, we commence an Historical Walking and Singing Tour along the quays, recalling, in particular, the 1913 Lockout, emigration, women’s struggles, seafaring and dock working. The walk concludes at the Larkin Monument in O’Connell Street.
