I am not a member of yacht club, I’ve been interested in Irish golf music ballads and culture for most of my life, I follow singing sessions on Facebook .often wondered if their was a group near me .i live in the Findlater building . So it would be great to be able to join
Hi Peadar, you would be more than welcome…. we meet on the 1st Thursday of the month at 8pm upstairs in the Abbey Tavern … we sing songs from 8 to 11, or sometimes play instruments. There’s usually a theme, but I’m not sure what the theme is in October.
There is usually an MC or 2.
They’ll welcome you and if you want to sing or play and if you don’t that’s fine, we love listeners too.
